Terminus is a small scale asymmetrical map designed for 4v4 gameplay. Also plays well at low player counts. One of my goals with Terminus was to make a map that runs smoothly on splitscreen, which for a forge map in Halo Reach is actually quite hard to do without major performance hits.

Gametype wise, 3-Plot Territories really shines on Terminus. The map also functions well for straight up Team Slayer and other modes like King of the Hill and Oddball.

Terminus is all about keeping things simple and is loosely inspired by ODST's Mombasa Streets.

In creating Terminus I went in with an unusual goal for forge, to create a map that runs with a stable framerate on 4player split-screen. For a forge map in Halo Reach, this is near impossible. I did however pull it off by creating the level with a ridiculously small number of objects and ended up with a great 3-plots map in the process.
